We have job opening AVP - Collections Forecasting, location: hyderabad

Essential Responsibilities:

Review data and perform business analysis that is accurate, timely, validated and compliant in a documented manner.

Partner with process owners in establishing procedures and resolution requirements to ensure accurate and timely delivery with regulatory and compliance standards maintained.

Provide guidance to team on data requirements and guide client level analysis.

Communicate with tact and diplomacy to influence decisions and gain buy in.

Key contributor in reviews with SLT / ELT teams on the regular basis.

Work with large volumes of data from multiple data sources and in analyzing data to identify key trends and insights.

Interact effectively with Forecasting Managers to document impact activities to include scope of back testing and process changes.

Lead Forecasting efforts with typically Quarterly planning, cross functionally with Risk and Finance teams to include, but not limited to creating and clarifying assumptions and trend analysis, assisting with existing process documentation, updating validation/back test portions of plan, communications, etc.

Provide support to Collections forecasting team including research, validation, and documentation of current processes; provide overall SME support.

Execute forecasting agenda as they apply to collections process and applications related to

Collections strategy team, to include but not limited to releases for Early and Late stage strategies.

Identify defects, assist in investigation, solution and escalation.

Assist in development of dashboard communications of short term and long term forecast.

Contribute to and assist in implementing improvements in Back dated payment methods, Pay

Down estimates, strategies, and documentation.

Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.

Demonstrate organization and time management skills.

At least 6+ years of SAS/SQL hands on experience.

Proficient with Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint.

Effect change through innovative ideas and effective thought leadership.

Knowledge of modeling tools, statistical techniques and segmentation strategies.

3+ years of Project Management Experience

Excellent interpersonal, analytical, organizational and written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to make decisions based on quantitative analysis and creative

Strong self-starter balanced with desire to achieve team goals.

Ability to handle sensitive issues with uncompromising integrity and confidentiality.

Desired Characteristics:

Work experience in a US financial institution or bank.

Collections and forecasting experience, including modelling processes preferred.

Experience with FDR, payment tools, Vision Plus, and/or payment tools preferred.

1 year of testing experience preferred with data creation, execution of test strategies, test plans and test cases a plus.
