AVP - Client Valuations - Bank

Position : Role :

- Work as part of the Client Valuations group which is responsible for the control and dispatch of valuation statements, detailing the mark to market value of their cash and derivaties positions, to clients and to handle client quesries on Valuations Statements

- Be a central point of contact for external clients on valuations and responding / resolving their queries / disputes in a timely and professional manner and having to build strong working relationships with various front and back offices departments globally

- Coordinate with such areas as Trading, Sales, Product control and Middle Office to resolve escalated customer inquiries and disputes

- Partner with the project team to develop requirements for system enhancements and assist with user acceptance testing

- This position will involve working in the US shift

Requirements :

- MBA (Finance)/ MCom/ MSc

- 9-10 years of experience in the financial services industry with detailed knowledge about the market practice of Client Valuations

- Should have knowledge of Derivatives Valuations

- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products

- Detailed knowledge of the front to back process in an investment banking environment. Proven ability to manage multiple product systems. Proven problem solving and troubleshooting skills

- Ability to ask probing questions to gather information and resolve issues and where appropriate, able to argue own position and reach a consensus in the light of differing views

- Ability to mentor and coach the new joiners
