As part of the Business Architecture team ensure :

- Understand and review target business processes as developed by business architects and change programs (ensure processes are consistent across CFO, challenge where necessary)

- Assist in defining 'libraries' that are attached to target business process that align to core target state artifacts that drive out an understanding of process as it relates to data, calculations and reporting

- Assist in further developing logical and physical architectures in more detail with Risk and Finance IT partners to support the defined target state processes

- Assist in the creation of an operating model that pro-actively creates project delivery artifacts that align to the target state

- Assist in the review of delivery program artifacts that aim to design and deliver elements of the target state, ensuring compliance with already defined target states

- Assist in other deliverables within the Central Architecture function including: Creation of roadmaps to align to target, measuring conformity to target through metrics and visualization, refreshing key architecture artifacts for known changes, creating awareness and promoting the architecture function and key target state artifacts)

By the end of the first year the candidate should :

- Understand in detail key Business Architecture artifacts that collectively define the target state and be able to confidently represent them in any forum

- Confidently review and challenge target business processes across CFO, ensuring consistency in documentation and associated libraries of data

- Be able to discuss the business process and relates libraries of data attached to them with Risk and Finance IT partners to build appropriate solutions

- Own and refine key architecture artifacts as knowledge of target is refined at a lower level of detail

- Actively execute the operating model that will be defined to ensure delivery artifacts are generated in alignment with defined target state

- Be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of the target CFO business process and technology landscape

Required Skills :

- Investment Banking experience (5 yrs+) - broad knowledge across CFO (Group Finance / Accounting and Product Control in particular)

- Change experience in these fields preferred, preferably as a business analyst with exposure to process documentation

- Experience in large front to back strategic programs, involvement or an understanding of key design issues and working with partners across functions to collaboratively resolve

- Knowledge of Finance IT component landscape and processing within CFO

- Ability to understand and challenge both business process and IT landscape

- Ability to understand detailed business process and work with IT counterparts in delivering the technology capable of supporting the business process

- Should be articulate in writing and verbal communications and able to multi-task and deal effectively with multitude of stakeholders at various levels

- Ability to work remotely, in different time zones and handle global interactions plus planning skills, cost consciousness

- The Architecture Team within Finance Change ensures:

- A clear vision exists for target state business capabilities and detailed process within CFO

- Documents target state business processes

- Engage with IT counterparts to develop and robust and scalable target application landscape to deliver the target business processes

- Works with IT counterparts to deliver a multi year delivery roadmap to converge on target state

- Measure convergence with target through a series of architectural metrics

- Develop powerful visualization to demonstrate conformity with target and identify opportunities through the annual BoW planning exercise.
