Customer Intelligence & Product Development:

- Deeply understand customer behaviour, develop new customer insights

- Stay on top of trends in an ever-changing landscape, find opportunities and prioritize based on selection, gaps, size, internal capabilities, etc.

- Define the selection strategy, which categories to focus on, which brands to prioritize, what type of product, price range, etc.

- Work closely with internal & external stakeholders to move products from inception to market.

Vendor Identification and Development:

- Develop and deliver long term sourcing strategies, lead key initiatives with cross-functional teams; drive the decision making process of the category roadmap with regional senior leadership;

- Work with various ecosystems, manufacturers, materials on value engineering and contributing to price negotiation dialogs;

- Drive commercial relationships with suppliers, with a principal objective of achieving optimal cost and performance;

- Lead supplier performance management including improving sustainability & social responsibility;

- Coordinate and collaborate with local teams to deploy and manage the implementation of your defined strategies.

Process Excellence:

- Create a comprehensive Vendor management strategy and governance framework

- Own key merchandising channels & metrics

- Help to set up a category procurement support strategy along with supply chain teams and drive continuous process improvements, such as improving vendor lead times.

- Supply Chain Configuration: Plan a Supply Chain that optimizes SLAs, margins and bandwidth
