Our client an Alternative Investment Fund is looking to add professionals to their Life Sciences Investment team (Buy Side role)

Designation - AVP - Investment - Life Science

Location - Mumbai

Education - MBBS or PhD in Biotech/Biomedical Sciences + an MBA

- The role offers a unique opportunity to gain a blend of research, clinical and scientific diligence skills, and investment experience in exciting areas of healthcare (tools, diagnostics, therapeutics).

- The candidate will be involved in all aspects of Investments - identifying new investment areas, research on potential opportunities, engaging with start-ups, transaction due diligence, financial modelling, monitoring and working with portfolio companies.

- Ability to think ahead of the curve and learn fast.

- Good communication / interpersonal skills, self-motivated, and ability to work independently.

Experience - 5-10 years of experience in medical devices/biotech/healthcare services industry, life sciences strategic consulting, investment banking, business or corporate development.
