One of our clients, A leading insurance company in India is looking for a right candidate for the below mentioned position.
POSITION: - AVP - Business Development
JOB DESCRIPTION: -
- Help identifying prospective partners amongst banks, CA, Brokers, NBFC (national level / regional level) for distribution/group product opportunities for the co.& support the Business Development Manager with high quality presentations for prospects identified
- Basis information available & trend analysis, formulate the initial business case including a financial model based on business assumptions of the prospect.
- Data gathering and analysis to understand and provide insights on trends in life insurance related to business models, products, practices & sourcing from the banking channel of insurance companies.
- Providing insights and awareness on market environment and developments with emphasis on sales channels, competitor activity, lead performance, campaigns, compensation and productivity benchmarks.
- Execute documentation related to closure of distribution agreements with the prospect & help in implementation of the distribution relationship
- Develops and improves supporting processes for effective implementation of the Regional Bancassurance Blueprint
- Supports preparation of Banca Delegated Authority Parameters (DAP) including financial modelling and preparation of business case
- On a yearly basis, or earlier if required, reviews the effectiveness of the model design and prepares and obtains approval for revised Banca DAP
DESIRED PROFILE:
- We are looking for MBA with relevant experience from Insurance industry.
