Job Purpose: To support the Business Development and Delivery initiatives to achieve overall business targets for the region as well as individual targets by acquiring new clients and building existing client relations. The position reports into the Country Manager, and would support by contributing to strategic business decisions across one or more regions within India. The job holder would also be responsible for all operational decisions pertaining to the team and the clients that s/he is handling. This includes decisions on how to deploy resources, prioritization of work delivery, build high level relationships with clients and thought leadership in key areas. The job holder is responsible for the optimal utilization of resources including the staffing of resources within his/her team and ensuring profitability of projects. S/he may be required to personally lead critical projects especially in a specific practice area through contribution in thought leadership. Some of the key expectations from the AVP are as follows: - Subject matter expertise in one or more practice areas in the organization - Business development initiatives and successful conversion - Client Delivery - Ensuring impeccable services to clients in a timely, qualitative and innovative way through proper planning of resources - Ensuring project profitability and cash management - Resource & People Management - To keep 2-3 team members fully productive and utilized - Coaching & developing team members Key Responsibilities: 1. To ensure adequate business development in the region by coordinating efforts of team members as well as through personal initiatives [40%] 2. To lead the delivery effort in the regions ensuring that delivery is as per project plan and at accepted quality levels; and also liaise with customers ensuring a healthy relationship specially with key clients and high customer satisfaction levels [30%] 3. To contribute towards developing of specific solutions and creating expert teams in a specific practice [10%] 4. To train and develop consultants and leaders across various consulting practices, as well as for their personal growth.
