AVP - Business Centralised Operations - Life Insurance

We have very urgent position in one of BEST Life Insurance organizations across the following location :

POSITION : AVP - New Business Operations

Segment : New Business Ops

LOCATION - Mumbai ( Goregaon )

OFFERED CTC : negotiable,depending upon last drawn CTC, total experience .

JOB DESCRIPTION :

- Handle all New Business Operations related matters of the Company. In brief the below critical New Business areas which needs to be handled:

- ETE conversions from branch- vendor-other departments-new business.

- All Proposal Pay-outs (Like customer not taken up case, Company not taken up cases.

- Requirement processing (requirement raised at company level, requirement received from the customer)

- Managing New Business helpdesk for sales & branches with quick & quality response

- Internal Risk & Quality Team

- Handle all Legal and Compliance matters for all New Business matters and ensure zero non-compliance.

- Handle all Financial, Process and Compliance Risk of the Department

- Ensure completion of all projects as per the Project timelines and ensure the quality of the projects undertaken.

- Drive Process improvements on a continual basis.

- Preparation the budgets for all the Departments.

- Ensure ISO compliance for the all the function

Ensure the department cost is within budget.

- Ensuring smooth processing of New Business Activities and achieving the agreed TAT and SLA with Sales

- ETE conversions from branch- vendor-other departments-new business.

- All Proposal Pay-outs (Like customer not taken up case, Company not taken up cases.

- Requirement processing (requirement raised at company level, requirement received from the customer)

- Managing New Business helpdesk for sales & branches with quick & quality response

- Internal Risk & Quality Team

- Internal Risk & Quality Team Driving quality in all processing handled at NB level.

- Ensure all NB activities are done within the prescribed IRDA TAT and as per the prescribed IRDA regulations

- Handle the entire New Business team of 24 Members and 13 off roll team members.

- Drive reduction of Stale Cheques at Company Level.

Reduce the per policy cost of NB processing.

Internal Relations :

- With Sales function for conversion related matters

- Legal and Compliance Team for the L&C matters

- Marketing Team for the New Products Setup and amendments.

- Policy Servicing department for Policy servicing related matters

- Branch Operations team for many common areas and regular interaction on customer and sales queries / issues.

- CPC Project Team and IT Project team for all the projects undertaken.

- Actuarial Team for the consents letter issuance & related queries, Month end closing and policy conversion related communication.

- Accounts team for the various pay-outs and various Taxes related matters.

- IT supports team for the system level issues / bugs faced.

- Customer Service team for all customer related communication and issues raised at the call centre team

- CSD Team for the customer complaints

- HR team for the Team recruitment and Training & Development needs.

- Actuary Team for the Product related queries and F&U queries.

- Admin Function for team admin related support required and issues if any.

- Legal Team for the Legal cases filed against us at various Courts.

Process Excellence team for the new Processes release, amendment in current processes and various audits.

Industry : BFSI / Any Industry.

- CA / MBA Relevant profile in operations with experience bracket of 6 to 12 years.

- Industry open, ops experience/supply chain mngt/back end ops (NO branch ops, no govt sector).

- Only post qualification experience counted .
