I. Introduction
AVP - Brand, Marketing & Communications will design, implement, and monitor effective marketing and communication strategies that align with the business goals. he/she will be managing a variety of promotional projects end-to-end, including paid digital and traditional advertising campaigns. She will actively supervise internal Brand, Marketing & Communication teams and be hands on to plug in any gaps in the team.
II. Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, analyze, and iterate cohesive marketing plans to increase brand awareness, consideration, and adoption
- Set current and long-term goals for internal teams and allocate resources accordingly
- Research, meet, shortlist and onboard external agencies as needed
- Plan, review and monitor the Department's budget
- Build relationships with media and stakeholders through creative PR strategies
- Monitor all marketing campaigns and iteratively improve them by focusing on data and insights
- Design and prepare regular MIS and presentations for the management
- Conduct market analysis to identify and understand the needs, desires and constraints of target audience
- Conceptualize, drive, and implement effective marketing events
- Forecast hiring needs for the Department and drive recruitment
- Track Competitor activities, USP's and new product launches
- Track brand awareness metrics
III. Profile Requisites
- Should have 10+ years of experience in brand, marketing and communications with a MBA degree in Marketing, Communication or relevant field
- Should have worked on crafting growth strategies for a consumer focused, digitally native business
- Should be a good communicator, fast learner, self-motivated and highly organized with the ability to work swiftly across different projects
- Should have positive, assertive, yet empathetic leadership with "exceptional soft skills" to enable delivery through high degree of collaboration and partnership
- Should have strong project management skills and be able to provide clear, time bound actionables for the team to ensure high quality work
- Should have strong business acumen, with a good grasp of Performance Marketing
- Should have strong knowledge of SEO, web analytics and Google UAC/ Adwords
- Should have experience with CRM software, digital marketing tools and techniques
