AVP - Banking Operations

Our client is an MNC Bank hiring for Its indian back office operations in Chennai.

Responsibilities:

1) As a Manger of the Transaction Processing Unit, incumbent will lead a team to assure services to the India Consumer Banking Group within agreed SLA.

2) Managing BAU, which involves processing of (for Manager – Financial):

- Processing all Financial Transactions like Deposit booking, liquidation and reissuance including NR products like NRE, FCNR etc.,

- Salary processing, Account Closures, waiver of charges,

- SI and ECS Maintenance, Interest rate maintenance in the system.

- Handling all Issuances like Chq book, PIN, ATM card etc.,

3) Managing SLA – delivering TAT and Accuracy.

4) Evaluate team performance e.g. performance appraisals, ongoing feedback and training.

Key Deliverables:

- Delivery in line with agreed Service Level Agreements.

- Delivering excellent customer service without compromising business needs.

- Think out of the box to deal with in-life process issues to meet customer SLA.

- Process development / improvements and automation of activities managed by the unit.

- Identification, management and control of the operational risk indicators for centralized liability operations

- Managing larger number of reconciliation of accounts and ensure that all open entries are cleared with in the time permitted for each of the transactions.

- Manage & coaching a Team of 50+ and motivating them to achieve a desired results.

Required

- Chartered or Cost Accountant or MBA from Tier I institute or Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Banker or an experienced Graduate.

- Chartered or Cost Accountant or MBA from Tier I institute or Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Banker (CAIIB) with an experience of 6-7 years of experience in either Banking operations role or have an experience of banking transactions processing as part of BPO.
