AVP - Analytics/Business Intelligence - Internet/Online

- AVP - Analytics is going to lead the charter of analytics across data sanctity/integrity,presentation & insights. He/She is expected to manage a team of 10-15 analysts & managers to drive key business insights for the company.

- Design, implement and drive adoption of new analytic technologies and solutions.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, presentation and communication skills.

- Creation and management of data architecture/setup in the company.

- Responsible for implementing tools/techniques to capture, manage and analyse data across all domains

- Assessment and implementation of necessary data visualization tools to ensure data availability to all key business stakeholders

- Guide team in generating business critical insights and influence strategic decision making through data

- Work across product, operations, marketing, supply and other business functions to provide tangible recommendations across revenue & cost optimization, growth and customer experience

- Responsible for reporting all key business metrics to stakeholders and ensuring adherence to business plans

- 8+ years of intensive experience of handling data and performing complicated data modelling preferably in a consulting, analytics or operations environment

- Bachelors/ Masters/ PhD degree in Engineering, Math, Computer Science,

- Information Systems, Machine Learning, Statistics, Econometric, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research or related technical degree

- Experience in architecting, building and maintaining (commercial or open source) software platforms and large-scale data infrastructures.

- Working knowledge of business intelligence and data management tools - Tableau,Qlikview etc

- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills

- Experience in managing teams for at least 2+ years -

- Experience working with big data platforms, like Hadoop, Hive, HBase, Spark, etc -

- Experience in Product / Web / Growth / Operation Analytics (preferred)

- Knowledge of a statistical programming language, like R or Python, and a database querying language like SQL

- Good knowledge of basic statistics, especially concepts such as statistical tests,distributions, maximum likelihood estimators, etc. (preferred)

- Candidate should be able to make improvements in predictive performance or algorithm optimization. (preferred)
