AVP - Analytics

The AVP - Analytics is responsible for a combination of data analysis, project management and operational process management to support the valuation and/ or collection efforts of the business. The AVP personally develops or manages others to develop technical solutions to business problems and is comfortable working in a data intensive environment. The role requires both business insight and technical know how in a variety of data extraction tools, including SAS, IBM iSeries, Access and Excel. The AVP manages a team of 3-4 data Managers and is responsible for the their coaching, development and productivity.

- Perform data analyses on valuation and/or collection processes (e.g. pre-purchase valuation, account movement/ placements)

- Take leadership role in development of processes/systems to enhance and streamline department functions

- Define reporting needs and monitor report to understand trends, issues and opportunities.

- Play lead role in working with Operations/ IT to define and develop technical systems/ solutions for new operational needs

- Develop and Coach direct reports and other analytical resources on cross-functional teams.
