Overall purpose of role : This role has responsibility within the area of Credit Strategy for High Risk Transaction Management where the candidate will be responsible for optimizing Authorization strategies (Payment and purchases) to drive the resilient growth of the Barclays US Partner portfolio. This role will access and drive integration of alternative data sources into our ECO system to enhance and improve the underwriting, acquisition, customer management and collection recoveries Key Accountabilities : - Span the universe of data and identify sources that could drive increase in approval rates, improve risk and drive spend - Drive the analysis and testing for each of the sources to determine feasibility and value - Present finding to key leaders and help drive recommendation Person Specification : Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications : - 4+-year college degree required; quantitative disciplines preferred; master's degree preferred - Experience with the data ECO system - 4+ years of experience in a financial institution preferred in credit data management Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications : - Strong analytical, technical and statistical skills with proven ability to process vast amounts of data into meaningful information. - Strong knowledge of SQL, SAS, Python and Excel. - Strong communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly, in both written and verbal form. - Previous experience in Financial Services Industry and Credit Risk Management, preferably in High Risk Transaction Management or Fraud Management. - Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast paced environment
