AVP - Advanced Analytics - Insurance Vertical

Set up and lead the teams in Advanced Analytics (AA) group within the company

Domain : Insurance Vertical

Reporting to : APAC Head - Analytics 

- Collaborate closely with senior leaders in building the clients advanced analytics capability

- Lead a team of seasoned analytics professionals and partner with cross-functional teams for creating solutions for clients

- Should have a very strong domain expertise in the Insurance Domain. (Not only financial Services)

- Work with Marketing to work on Customer Consulting programs to build capabilities and deliver projects in the Insurance domain.

- Conduct peer reviews of projects

- Grow the team through both hiring and coaching, training and mentoring existing team members

- Frequent communication with the DA group to inform and educate about new cutting edge techniques

- Support AA sales pursuits

- Strong experience in advanced analytics

- Very strong domain expertise in Insurance Vertical.

- Experienced in managing and leading a team of business/ data analysts

- Strong problem-solving and presentation skills, with the ability to interface directly with business leadership.

- Deep domain expertise, understanding of current & future trends and best practices

- Graduate/Post Graduate degree, preferably in Engineering /Statistics

- Strategic thinker with excellent skills in planning & team leadership.

- A Consulting background preferably from Big Consulting firms.
