AVP- Actuary- Shareholder Reporting Looking for Actuarial professionals for a leading life insurance company. The incumbent will be responsible for leading shareholder and statutory reporting, profitability analysis and IFRS 17 implementation. If this sounds interesting, read on! Responsibilities: - This role will be responsible for carrying out the regular reporting to IRDA, shareholders and Institute of Actuaries of India - Carrying out monthly valuation of liabilities and associated reporting for the month end including the statutory reporting for the year end - Production of the statutory valuation of liabilities as at year end; monthly valuation of liabilities for internal management and shareholders - Carrying out analysis of the profits / EV emerging in the company to understand the sources of profits / losses for the company and presenting insights from the same to SMT along with VP Actuarial - Transition of all financial reporting of the Company from the current Indian GAAP to IFRS 17 as required by the Regulations over the next few years with the help of external consultants qualified actuary or be nearing completion of attaining fellowship Requirements: - Qualified actuary or be nearing completion of attaining fellowship; - Possess strong understanding of general actuarial principles, financials and the industry; - Possess good working knowledge of actuarial software Prophet What is in it for you? - An opportunity to define, lead and coordinate the operations of the company - Liaise extensively with stakeholders - An opportunity to work with a bluechip firm in a high visibility role as a part of the leadership team
