AVP Accounts

Accounting and Reporting

- Lead monthly & quarterly closing process

- Period closing in ERPs. Work on all the relevant MJEs & transfer of data from different modules to GL
Closing & Finalization of books

- Performing day to day accounting activities (AR, AP, Fixed Assets, GL Accounting etc.)

- Ensure Statutory Returns filing in time such as TDS, VAT, Excise, Service tax, GE Corporate submissions/requests such as translated TB, tax rate reconciliation, ICP, DTDF, Cost trackers, COGNOS to GL rec

- Reporting as per US GAAP/MARS etc

- Lead internal and external audits, tax filings including corporate income tax and vat, and tax investigation from authorities.

- Maintain updated Documentation and BCP for all services supported

- Preparation of Dashboards and work on pre-close reviews etc

- Working knowledge of manufacturing accounting issues like inventory

- Ensure 100% compliance on all taxes, laws and other policy requirements

- Do revenue recognition audits and ensure 100% compliance with all corporate guidelines

- Perform and ensure high quality account reconciliations for all accounts – 100% on time and with 0 defects

- Engage with the ERP support team as a functional expert in providing requirements, testing support, etc.

- Identifying and resolving Oracle Issues with RTS Team as required

- Lead all finance reporting including balance sheet reviews and all ad hoc reporting requirements.
