Profile: Senior Consultant for data analytics in Banking Location: Mumbai Organization: Strategy consulting based out of Gurgaon We are a Global Management Consulting firm, with India focus, that aids companies in making better business decisions by leveraging facts, information and advanced analytics. The company has been founded by the alumnus of two leading global organization General Electric and Tata. The founding team brings a unique mix of global experience with a focus on delivering unmatched value to clients. Our engagements range from corporate strategy to market attractiveness, market sizing studies to industry whitepapers. We use a combination of secondary research, primary research and various analytical tools &amp; techniques to provide fact-based, insightful analysis to our clients that help them build and execute their growth initiatives. Current project is to support a financial institution's new initiatives in risk and startup financing and innovative products for various sectors. As part of the project, data and analytics team is supposed to provide the data and analytic backbone to inform project implementation and enhance its effectiveness. Tasks of the team will include: 1.) Data driven analytics to improve Business Performance 2.) Research and analytics support and 3.) Data repository and management Responsibilities include, but not limited to: - Data driven analytics to improve Business Performance - Develop reporting formats that present comparative metrics in tables, graphs and easy-to-interpret formats - Analyze and identify factors that affect the achievement of the project results -&nbsp; Portfolio analysis to achieve the optimum balance between the risk and the return - Research and Analytics - Analytical inputs for new product development &nbsp; - Assist in the testing, piloting and evaluation of new financial products Innovate on methods of data collection for quick inputs to sector specific product development needs -&nbsp; Contribute to any other sector specific data needs in product development and or research analytics Data Repository and Management: - Ensure ease of access and usability of data and comparability across different sets of data - Develop appropriate guidelines for all data collected in the project Maintain databases and ensure the validity of data Requirement: - At least 5 years experience of Data Analytics - Experience in delivering Analytics Solutions -&nbsp; Experience in banking industry required - Hands on experience on Excel/VBA and other BI tools We are looking for MBA/ Post Graduates in Quantitative Sciences with 5- 10 years of experience in Consulting and data analytics. This is a full time position based out of Mumbai.
