Aviva - AVP - Fund Accounting

Purpose:

- The jobholder will have the responsibility of accounting and valuation of Investment book, NAV, reconciliation of bank, custody and units and timely settlement of deals.

Main responsibilities:

- Timely settlement of trades.

- Accounting for trades, income/expense accruals

- Valuation as per prescribed norms and NAV computation and dissemination for all ULIP funds

- Reconciliation of control accounts and schedule monitoring.

- Daily reconciliation of Investment related Bank accounts/Securities/Units.

- Finalisation of Investment trial/Schedules for preparation of financials and statutory audit.

Skills/ knowledge:

- Knowledge of accounting concepts, techniques and principles

- Good knowledge of Indian Equity and Debt markets

- Spread sheet skills to analyse the financial statements by using a range of techniques.

Experience:

- About 7-10 years of relevant experience in AMC/Insurance companies.

- Experience in derivatives market will be an added advantage
