About this position: At this time, we are seeking to hire a self-driven, results-oriented and seasoned Software Development professional with 8-10 years of hands-on Software Development experience that includes the following. A seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of the area of specialization; resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways. Designs and develops complex software systems or subsystems, with involvement at all stages, from the initial concept through the detailed design and release to manufacturing and customers. Roles and Responsibilities: Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Works on the critical code and independently resolves all levels of bugs and problems in several areas and designs complete fixes for systems problems. Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments. May coordinate and direct the work of engineering and other technical staff as project leader for assignments of limited scope. Provides estimates and sets schedules for completion of assignments. Desired Skills: 1. Product Development &amp; Delivery : - Develop AVEVA products that satisfy Functional Specifications and User Requirements - Follow development life cycle including design, code development, unit testing, rework, and release - Comply with programming standards and processes approved by the Technical Managers and Technical Architects 2. Quality Assurance : - Update Design and Functional Specification documentation to reflect the as-built product - Ensure quality with function, statement and path coverage with unit testing - Ensure the appropriate level of quality by adhering to work practices - Analyze and rectify software defects 3. Knowledge Management: &nbsp; - Keep updated on new technologies - Develop product expertise in one or more areas 4. Team Performance : - Maintain professional relationships with all stakeholders - Support team to identify &amp; resolve problems - Work in conjunction with team to facilitate and promote knowledge and skills enhancement - Comfortable working in a fast pace environment where you can adapt to changes. - Work with cross-functional and globally distributed product development teams in developing high quality software components on continuous improvement and innovation for both products and processes 5. Produce technical documentation : - Design software solutions with guidance from Technical Managers and Technical Architects - Define and document Product Specifications based on User Requirements - Assist in preparation of task breakdown and estimation for development projects Experience : Technical Knowledge : Deep skills : XAMARIN ANDROID SDK &amp; IOS SDK, HTML5, JAVA SCRIPT, CSS, JSON, USER INTERFACE - MOBILE FORMS DEVELOPMENT, C#, OBJECT ORIENTED PROGRAMMING, ASP.NET, WEB CONCEPTS - Xamarin mobile application development using Android &amp;iOS - Experience with Android SDK and/or IOS SDK - Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle - Knowledge of Mobile Application Security - Good understanding of Object oriented programming and design patterns (MVVM.MVC etc) - C# with Advanced Concepts - Good understanding of Web Concepts, HTTP Protocol and HTTPS - Exposure to angularjs, typescript, etc - Experience in creating and consuming Web API - Experience in HTML 5, JavaScript and CSS3 - Experience in test automation. - Experience in cloud platforms such as azure - Create compelling device specific user interfaces and experiences - Pushed at least one app to iOS &amp; Android store Light skills : - Work experience with ASP.NET - Test Driven Development - Work experience in an agile environment with 2-3-week cycle delivery - Should be able to mentor junior team members. - Should be able to play the role of scrum master. - Other behavioral aspects - Flexible to work as a team player or Independent contributor - Good in communication - Open, proactive, and self-organized
