Roles &amp; Responsibilities: - Responsible for supporting the team on overall direction, growth and execution of the meat &amp; seafood category. - Accountable for financial performance of the category, including driving and achieving sales, margin and waste goals. - Assists in creating a customer experience in the Meat and Seafood category on our platform as a destination for fresh, high quality local meat and seafood. - This role will work directly with various vendors and suppliers negotiating the best possible position for the company. - The position will be a subject matter expert both internally and externally with regards to the meat &amp; seafood category. - The planning of all promotional activities and planograms relating to the category will fall into this role. - Monitor competitor pricing, and competitor activity daily to dynamically make changes to the category plan to meet or exceed key performance indicators. - Forecast potential inventory issues and address proactively with vendors and suppliers. - Develop own brands strategy for the meat &amp; seafood category. - Work with various suppliers, developing relationships for all existing and new products in the category.
