The Associate will be a part of our Future Leaders Fund (FLF) - a private equity fund focused on investing in 'best of breed' late stage private companies. KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: - Work as part of the internal deal team, on key aspects related to target company's positioning, valuation, and structuring options - Create deal documentation including but not limited to investment memoranda, briefing documents and periodic updates (monthly/quarterly - for internal as well as external communication) - Support evaluation and execution of the due diligence process, leveraging internal and external subject matter experts as required - Build an understanding of the PE regulatory restrictions/options for investment structures/ standard legal principles and apply knowledge to recommend ideas/find solutions - Support in portfolio company management to achieve business plans and assist in building exit strategies (as required) - Continuously evaluate the environment to benchmark the performance of the portfolio companies with their peers - Build favorable relationships at the appropriate level within the portfolio companies - Assist the team in preparing presentations/documentation for interactions with multiple internal and external stakeholders EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED: - We are looking for MBA candidates from premier B-schools - Prior Private Equity/Investment Banking/ related financial services experience (at least 1 year) is required - The team is based out of Delhi - so interested candidates must be currently based out of Delhi / willing to relocate to Delhi as required - Should be a self-starter with a high energy level, orientation for excellence, accountability, and entrepreneurial mindset - Excellent written & spoken English is a must
