CORE AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY : - Work with the quant fund managers to conceptualize and backtest various systematic trading strategies. - Responsible to research, develop, maintain and update systematic trading models on various programming platforms. - Responsible for developing and maintaining the necessary databases and perform data analytics Functional Experience: - Live experience for developing/researching systematic trading strategies for buy side firms (Funds or prop-desks) will be an added advantage - Experience of programming/developing trading strategies on Python. - Should be well versed with or inclination towards fundamental factor models & Price based trading strategies - Candidate should have hands-on experience of systematic trading/research using Index/Single stock options along with strong understanding of option greeks - Candidate should be able to perform various risk management techniques associated with systematic trading e.g. Monte-Carlo simulations, Scenario analysis, stress test and sensitivity tests etc. - Experience on portfolio model construction will be added advantage - Proficiency & good understanding for: - various systematic trading related performance metrics, risk management & diversification concepts etc. - Excel, VBA, Python and Matlab - Good to have knowledge (Optional, but not a must) - Knowledge regarding machine learning algorithms, data mining, NLP, High frequency trading - Knowledge of working on Bloomberg API's including BQL and Bloomberg platforms including B-quant - Experience of working with intraday price tick data Behavioral Skills: - Passion for technology, software development and mathematics - Should be passionate about Equity Markets and strong team player - Should have capability to think out-of-box and eager for a steep learning curve - Should be self-driven and proactive with high initiative Education qualification - Engineer from a premier institute - MBA from top tier college (will be an added advantage)
