Avana - DM/Manager - Procurement

Job Summary - This role requires procurement of high quality materials and services, ensuring on time delivery at costs that facilitate project success.

Key Responsibility Area -

Projects related responsibilities -

- Identify/ Select subcontractors and system integrators for various outsourced activities/Services (Civil/Infrastructure activities, Networking etc.)

- Procure raw materials, equipment, supplies and services of specialized or complex nature keeping the input cost to the minimum level with acceptable quality.

- Select and technically evaluate Vendors for short term and long term procurement basis the business requirement. Negotiate & develop a network of committed vendors for procurement of goods & services.

- Effective interfunctional coordination and communication.

- Coordinate with logistics for the timely delivery at the site.

- Maintain a robust MIS and documentation for the function.

- Pre Sales Support related responsibilities

- Provide timely support to the Sales/pre Sales teams with pricing details on bids. Contribute with valid input in commercial discussions on bids.

- Establish good rapport and relationships with diverse group of OEMs for various products in the market. Negotiate aggressive prices and payment terms with vendors/OEMs.

- Keep abreast of all current trends and developments in the areas of supply chain management, logistics, warehousing and distribution and leverage these as and when applicable

- Seek feedback and Work with the sales/project teams to identify cost reduction opportunities and build a competitive advantage for the company in the bids.

Education Background - BE/BTECH in Electronics/Electrical engg will be preferred.MBA added advantage

Experience Background - 4-8 yrs of experience

Languages - English /Hindi/Any other language
