Avana - Bid Manager

Bid Management, Business Planning, Strategy, Business Development/Pre-sales support, Preparing Customer Value proposition, Value Chain Analysis, Industry Trend Analysis.

1. To lead and manage the preparation of the bids and proposals, ensuring a consistent quality, uniformity and timely delivery;

2. Review bid requirements & determine key commercial & technical issues for compliance / non-compliance evaluation. Determine the commercial conditions that would be considered onerous on corporate criteria.

3. Manage the development of Engineering technical offerings for bids and proposals.

4. Coordinate with Finance and the various functional departments to expedite the creation of costing based on established product work breakdown structure and pricing data in bid-pack format.

5. Lead the risks management process as per corporate guidelines and standard tools;

6. Co-ordinate with Documentation to ensure proposals are published in time to meet deadlines.

7. Participate in review of proposal deliverable ensuring the proposal package meets the form & content requirements of Customer

8. Report bid status and progress by means of a written monthly report, bi-weekly group meeting / conference call checkpoints and other ad hoc communications.
