Sales Head
Avaali is seeking an experienced Sales Head to lead our B2B sales efforts based out of Bangalore, India.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10-15 years of experience selling solutions such as Enterprise Content Management (ECM), Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Process Mining, Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) solutions, Shared Services / GBS Automation, and other related services. This role requires an individual with a successful track record of developing and executing strategic plans that meet or exceed sales goals.
The Sales Head will be accountable for achieving the companys revenue goals and objectives. He/She will be engaged also in recruiting, training, coaching, and mentoring a team of high-performing sales\ Representatives, setting targets and performance expectations, monitoring progress towards those targets, and managing risk effectively. He/she should be knowledgeable in industry best practices for sales process optimization as well as customer acquisition/retention strategies. A successful candidate must possess excellent communication skills as well as organizational skills and demonstrate the ability to work with personnel across multiple departments within the organization.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop a regional strategy for sales force engagement that meets or exceeds established revenue objectives
- Define key metrics for tracking performance against established goals
- Collaborate with marketing on lead-generation initiatives that maximize ROI
- Foster relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for future growth
- Manage existing pipelines of prospects from inquiry through close; evaluate customer feedback to ensure client satisfaction
- Analyse market trends in order to develop a better understanding of customer needs
- Identify new market segments to create additional opportunities for growth
- Establish pricing models that optimize revenue potential while maintaining competitive positioning in the marketplace.
- Develop team members skills to drive results through effective coaching and mentoring techniques.
- Effectively communicate business requirements to the technical team, and vice versa.
- Work closely with the services organization to ensure effective translation of customer requirements during implementation.
- Generate whitepapers, thought leadership papers, and sales presentations as required.
- Create, update, and maintain knowledge repositories.
- Generate assets such as case studies, customer references etc. and distribute across all channels.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree required; Master's degree preferred
- 10-15 years of direct sales experience with success selling solutions such as ECM, RPA,/Process Mining, Shared Services / GBS automation etc.
- Proven track record meeting/exceeding assigned quota along with demonstrated ability leading a successful sales team
- Knowledgeable in industry best practices for customer acquisition/retention strategies
- Prior experience recruiting/training/mentoring sales professionals
- Excellent communication & presentation skills
- Self-motivated individual capable of working independently or in a team environment under tight deadline
