AVAADA POWER PRIVATE LIMITED is one of the pioneers of solar power in India. We through our associate companies Welspun Energy Private Limited and Welspun Renewables Energy Private Limited developed more than 1 GW solar and wind projects in India. Job Purpose - The purpose of this role is to provide leadership and direction in the development and implementation of business & growth strategy/ strategic initiatives across multiple business functions to support the delivery of the business & commercial goals of Avaada to stakeholders, investors, customers and the community.

Key Roles & Responsibilities -

1. Formulating corporate /Growth strategy for Avaada

2. Identification, Evaluation and Development of domestic & international investment opportunities in Power Sector /Infrastructure with specific focus on renewable & new technologies in renewable.

3. Identification of potential opportunities, cost benefit and viability analysis for the projects

4. Track opportunities in various business segments, analyze and present the opportunities to enable the management to take an informed decision

5. Translate ideas, and vision of promoters into plans, proposals, presentation, communications, strategic documents, concepts, reports and communication

6. Analyze and interpret information of proposals, business models and prepare executive summary to enable decision making

7. Financial Modelling, Performance Analysis and Gap Analysis

8. Understanding /Analyzing the government policies and procedures/Regulatory framework

9. Business and strategic networking

10. Transaction advisory support

11. Market Assessment & gaining market intelligent and competitor analysis

12. Bids/ JV opportunities

13. Risk analysis of projects for renewable, mining, power, PPP infrastructure, defence

14. Coordinate with senior management, first line and stakeholders for meetings, planning, decision making,

15. Bridge communication between the first line and the Chairman/Director on strategic plans

16. Schedule business and management review and follow up

17. Assist in research the developing reference material/Research on new markets/collaborations/technology tie ups

Qualifications Required -

Bachelor in Engineering / Technology and Post Graduation (MBA) from tier 1/2 institutes with at least 15 years of experience preferably in the power sector/consulting and in strategy and business development functions at a senior management position/role.
