About Organization:

AVAADA POWER PRIVATE LIMITED is one of the pioneers of solar power in India. We through our associate companies Welspun Energy Private Limited and Welspun Renewables Energy Private Limited developed more than 1 GW solar and wind projects in India. We were the first Indian Independent Power Producer (IPP) to achieve the milestones of developing 500 MW & 1 GW renewable projects in India. About Role /skills/competencies :

Key Skills:

1. Strong analytical and communication skills including financial modeling with expert level usage of MS EXCEL

2. Should be able to perform under pressure and strict timelines

3. Should have experience in valuing companies using fundamental analysis.

4. Passion for PE deals and related research including networking with Analysts / PE Investors

5. Valuation of infrastructure projects / companies under various scenarios

6. Business due diligence and an eye for details of business dynamics

7. Understanding of power & renewable/solar sector

Key Responsibilities:

1. Providing research and assisting Finance/Strategy team in identifying investment opportunities within the Power Sector.

2. Marketing research with in depth research & market analysis which involves preparing sector presentations and databases on various companies under coverage.

3. Conducting fundamental analysis of the company and the sector through bottom-up approach and making forward-looking projections.

4. Identifying and providing regular updates on the trends and the impact of various economic parameters on investment options.

5. Building & maintaining comprehensive financial models, involving DCF valuations, relative valuation etc.

6. Managing relations with Private Equity players and developing valuation model for the corporate for raising funds from Private-Equity firms.

7. Tracking PE deals, QIPs & Public Issue of similar infrastructure companies

8. Tracking valuation of similar infrastructure companies

9. Providing sector specific inputs for the Team in identifying & selecting investment opportunities

10. Gaining & maintaining Business domain expertise, sector presentations, reports & database

11. Valuation of different projects / companies of the Group

12. Conducting fundamental analysis of the company & sector making forward-looking projections with comprehensive financial models.

13. Identifying & providing regular updates / tends of various economic parameters impacting group

14. Managing relations with Private Equity players and developing valuation model for the corporate for raising funds from Private-Equity firms.
