Autorox - Vice President - Technology - IIT/NIT

Position Title : Vice President Technology

Reporting to : Chief Executive Officer

Location : Hyderabad

Budget : 20 to 25 LPA

Purpose of the Role :

Oversees all technical aspects and technological resources of an organisation for the purpose of organisational growth. Establishes a technological vision for an organisation and leads the company's technological development.

Key Responsibilities :

- Establish the company's technical vision and leads all aspects of the company's technological development.

- Directs the company's strategic direction, development and future growth

- Works with other departments to use new technologies to streamline company policies and rules

- Conducts research to improve the technological assets of a company

- Develops and directs all networking safeguards to reduce the risk of outside breaches and protect sensitive internal and external client information

- Plans and implements proper IT policies for employees

- Evaluates new technology and makes recommendations on technological solutions

- Consistently evaluates technical efficiency and makes changes as necessary

- Identifies competitive advantages and technological trends for the benefit of a company

- Directs the development and possible implementation of policies in instances of a breach, also known as disaster recovery plans

- Monitor KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance

Qualification :

- At least 10 years of experience in the Information Technology arena

- Proven track record of success in leadership positions

- Candidates should be preferably from IIT's or NIT- s

Experience Required :

- Proven experience as a CTO or similar leadership role

- Should be a strong innovation driver with belief in simplicity and minimalism

- Knowledge of technological trends to build strategy

- Understanding of budgets and business-planning

- Ability to conduct technological analyses and research

- Excellent communication skills

- Leadership and organizational abilities

- Ability to get hands on at all levels

- Should be able to handle several product releases parallelly

- Hands on experience in Agile Project Management with the ability to set the process

- Experience on Web and Mobile Technologies with good knowledge on AWS/Cloud

- Should be able to set security frameworks

- Should be able to convert knowledge into technology requirements

- Should have experience in various QA Techniques

- Should have good working knowledge on Microsoft Opensource, SAAS and Ecommerce technologies
