Position Title : Vice President Operations
Reporting to : Chief Financial Officer
Location : Hyderabad
Budget: To be discussed based on candidate
Purpose of the Role :
Plans, directs, and oversees a company's market expansion and operational activities. Takes ownership for meeting and exceeding set targets. Owns execution of long-term and short term business plans. Provide judgement, vision, management, and leadership to the operations and sales team
Key Responsibilities :
- Aggressive pan-India rollout of products and services to the company's clients in B2B and B2C space
- Provide day-to-day leadership and management to a sales and operations team which is undergoing rapid expansion
- Effectively measure and improve efficiency of sales and operational processes
- Responsible for identifying potential revenue channels and drive the team to achieve and surpass sales and profitability
- Provides timely, accurate and complete reports on the operations and sales teams
- Ensure team members are aligned to their goals and targets. Carry out checks and create balances in this regard
- Expand business in new locations (sub-activities range from setting up the office to making the branches profitable). Plan for user conferences
- Identify and execute plans for marketing and publicity of the company's products and services through traditional and digital channels
- Channel customer satisfaction feedback to technology teams and improve satisfaction through initiatives from time to time
- Plan promotional activities and product rollout pilots
- Responsible for new tie-ups and partnerships and negotiations in this regard
- Present new ideas and strategies to board of directors and other stake holders on B2B tie-ups and B2C marketing
- Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within the team
Required Qualifications :
Candidates should be preferably from IIM's or Top Business Schools in India
- Consistent academic track record
Experience Required :
- At least 10 years of experience
- Proven track record as AVP or VP in Operations cum marketing roles
- Proven track record of success in aggressive business plan roll-outs
- Proven track record of success in middle and senior management positions
- Proven track record of success in team leadership positions of Field sales for team sizes of more than 15 people
- Should be open to extensive travel across the country
- Exposure to Strategic Planning
Domain knowledge :
- Computational Skills, Legal Compliance, Automobile Industry Knowledge, Problem Solving, Planning and Implementation, Critical Thinking, Presentation Skills, Crisis and Risk Management
- Should have handled ATL budgets
Interpersonal Skills :
Possess exceptional leadership ability, as well as outstanding communication skills
- Have the resilience to deal with adversity and pressure while staying composed and adapting to the environment and situation when necessary
