Job Description :

A role within the Category teams of Bikeportal.In ensures a 360 degree exposure to the entire business and is an exhaustive and a very demanding role.

Responsibilities :

- Complete responsibility of top-line & bottom-line for assigned product category

- Creating and developing a long term plan and strategy for development of the category

- Provide detailed category analysis to assist in deriving insight on the category, competitors and shoppers.

- Driving category relationships with leading brands, distributors and importers with a view to explore new business opportunities.

- Leading category management projects to optimize assortment ranges and related merchandising.

- Initiating activities like negotiations for pricing, propositions and margins for the products and other special promotions in order to get the best deal for the company.

- Inviting proposals from different vendors for comparative analysis of the offers.

- Should be analytical and can manage back end operations like- uploading the products, analysis of various operational metrics related to Buyer NPS, forecast planning, inventory management, etc.
