Automation Head - Remote Infrastructure Management/Operations

- 12-14 years working experience in the Remote Infrastructure Management / Operations

- At least 8 -10 years relevant experience in IT infrastructure

- Exposure to scripting in an infrastructure operations environment

- Experience with Nagios, MySQL, Java, Perl (or PHP), application servers (Tomcat, JBoss, Web Logic, WebSphere, ATG, Resin), Dell Hardware or Run book automation tools like HP Opsware, BMC Atrium Orchestrator etc.

- Familiar with Linux or Solaris, TCP/IP, DNS, Apache, basic network troubleshooting, shell scripting

- Exposure to automation, scripting and proven examples of successful implementation

- Fundamental understanding of a UNIX-based operating system

- Familiarity with networked/distributed computing environment concepts

- Experience with writing scripts in administrative language (Perl, bash, sh, etc.)

- Programming experience in any applicable language

- Proven experience leading teams on Run Book automation tools e.g. HPOO, Atrium Orchestrator, etc.
