The India Senior Tax Analyst will report to the India Tax Manager to carry out the team's assigned indirect tax compliance tasks and responsibilities. This role will work with the respective business partners (geo tax teams, Accounting. Legal and others), including the India Tax Manager to build the processes being transferred to the India tax team. In addition to strong execution of tax processes, this role will be able to improve, document and train others on such processes. Responsibilities : - Be able to prepare indirect tax filings, including GST, VAT and U.S. sales & use tax/property tax - Have a good understanding of income tax provision and federal/state income tax returns (including estimated tax payments) using Thomson Reuters OneSource software - Assist with foreign data gathering and reporting - Assist with tax projects such as annual research and development credit project - Assist with acquisition data gathering necessary for compliance reporting - Prepare reports required to comply with FinCEN requirements - Assist with transfer pricing documentation - Assist with the creation and review of the Company's financial forecasts (forecasted intercompany transactions) - Assist with federal and state income tax audits - Be able to perform basic tax research - Manage a document retention project and prepare Autodesk files for future IRS audit - Knowledge of SAP - Should be comfortable working in Onesource, Vertex and other Tax software - Resolve any State Notices and Assist in State Audits - Work on other special projects as they arise Minimum Qualifications : - Bachelor- s/Master's degree in Accounting or Law degree - Work experience with Big Four accounting firm - At least 7 years of work experience in US Corporate Tax - Experience with U.S. taxation, especially in the tax compliance area - Experience with the technology industry and a robust network of peers and advisors in the technology industry also strongly desired but will consider the right candidate from other industries.
