Job Description:

Assistant Financial Controller position with the Finance Department and the key job responsibilities will be as follows:

Financial ControlI:

- Managing Finance Risk Management - Risk Matrix, Policy

- Supervising Financial & Business Risk

- Coordinating budgeting & Financial Planning & Analysis

- Implementing and maintaining accounting procedures, processes, RCMs, KRAs and policies

- Monitoring effectiveness of Controls & processes

- Supporting with supervision of all accounting department operations

- Overseeing control of accounting within subsidiary companies

- ERP data management and report generations

- Determining Financial Objectives, Designing & Implementing Systems, Policies & Procedures to facilitate internal Financial controls to align with Management

Budget and Variance Analysis:

- Working with departments and projects for preparation of detailed BOQ based budgets before start of every project/ activity

- Coordinating to incorporate the budges into ERP post approvals with proper approval matrix

- Periodic review of budget vs actuals and submitting variance analysis

Reporting :

- Preparing relevant and timely financial reports

- Suggesting ways to improve company performance

- Generating and reporting financial operating metrics

- Generating financial analysis for management decisions

Compliance and MIS:

- Monitoring debts and compliance

- Providing information to external auditors

- Providing financial information for tax filing

- Research technical accounting issues for compliance

- Support month-end and year-end close process

- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting

Academic/Professional Qualifications: Chartered Accountant/ MBA (from Reputed Institute)

Post Qualification Experience: 5-8 years of relevant experience in banking/ investment banking/ consulting/ industry
