The marketing data analyst would import, update, and manage data across multiple sales, marketing, and business analytics applications. The role will include a wide range of responsibilities from single-record data entry to data modelling and management across multiple platforms and applications. You would make recommendations about the methods and ways in which a company obtains and analyses data to improve quality and efficiency of sales and marketing systems. The role requires someone who is curious, detail oriented and willing to be a team player.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage data and data applications related to sales, marketing, and customer relationships, including adding or updating single or bulk records.
- Generate, analyze, and distribute actionable reporting insights on sales and marketing activity.
- Own the accuracy of the database, have deep familiarity of data fields, understand where they are used and recommend data expansion in needed areas.
- Perform research on target markets to identify key accounts and buyers/influencers within the market. Segment database into necessary market segments and personas.
- Manage and improve the reporting environment, including recommending or supporting initiatives for data integrity and normalization.
- Build, maintain and train others to use data tools and dashboards related to sales, marketing or business analytics.
- Assist sales and marketing in identifying, evaluating, and implementing new sales and marketing systems.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Certified Salesforce admin with 1-2 years of hands-on experience preferred. Strong understanding of Salesforce essential.
- Continuous learner with ability to master technologies quickly.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, marketing or finance or a similar field.
- Experience building and maintaining dashboards to drive business decisions.
- Experience working within a high-growth, technology company and experience in optimizing sales process and performance is preferred.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams efficiently.
- Comfortable working in a high-growth environment with competing priorities among a globally dispersed team.
- Should have a highly analytical approach with good problem-solving skills.
