Role overview:

SEO Content Writers are required to provide original descriptions for every merchant added on Coupon site and to write fresh content (blogs and other forms) adhering to the latest SEO updates and advancements.

Responsibilities:

Write/edit Khojguru.com website merchant descriptions - identify the attributes of the merchant product or services and write with a clear understanding of the target audience with the right tone of voice.

Develop highly effective, original and targeted content for the promotion and sale of Khojguru coupons/deals online.

Research online for detailed information about each merchant.

Work with various internal and external teams to get hold of the correct merchant information and their key services.

Follow the content calendar and produce regular high quality & research driven content for Khojguru blog.

Creating compelling keyword rich SEO friendly content.

- Producing content that is optimal with the desired list of keywords.

- Writing content for various platform including website, microsite, blogs, social media etc.

- Ensuring fresh content on website

- Content that supports all the SEO initiatives including ad copies

- Creating content of various digital formats - video, info graphics, blogs, off page articles, pdf documents, SEO articles, website reviews and press releases

Ideal candidate :

2-3 years of content writing experience. E-commerce background preferred.

- Excellent writing skills with a keen eye for detail, thorough knowledge of English grammar.

- Expertise in researching new topics for a particular subject, Google keyword research and to create a set of keywords for SEO-optimized content.

- Experience in writing new SEO-friendly copy for pages on company website (page titles, Meta descriptions, h1s, alts, anchor text, etc.)

- Experience in creative blog writing and posting to drive more traffic to website

- Content creation for Infographic and slideshare decks will definitely be an added advantage.

- Ability to ensure quality and consistency - in terms of linguistic correctness as well as content - within set timelines.

- Numbers driven. Someone who decides the goals and metrics for each content piece clearly before writing.

- Understanding of social media marketing is a plus
