Audit & Finance Manager/Finance Head - Manufacturing Firm

To oversee internal operating controls, processes and practices, recommend changes and enhancements to existing policies and controls to make sure that current, adequate and functional and utilized in accordance with standards established by the government and the company.

Key Responsibilities Deliverables / Outcomes:

- Audit - Working primarily through Directors and Audit Requirements

- Coordinating and developing internal auditing processes.

- Developing and implementing policies and procedures.

- Supervising and conducting independent audits.

- Preparing analysis for departments.

- Conducting investigations on irregularities and errors.

- Drafting recommendations on corrective measures.

- Advising Manager/executives

- Taxes and Statutory Compliance Finance - Plan, organize, and execute financial tasks and projects of the organization.

- Make estimates of funds required for the short and long-term financial objectives of the organization.

SOP - Complete financial reports, lead the month-end closing process and conduct monthly financial forecast.

- Develop and implement plans for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

- Strategize on fund procurement through banks and other financial institutions.

- Manage and monitor metrics, KPI tracking, and reports.

- Evaluate the financial performance of the organization and measure returns on investments.

- Understand and calculate the risks involved in the financial activities of the organization.

- Treasury Management

- Aware of FEMA guidelines - aware & experience in preparation of of all relevant SOPs and SOIs as per Company policy

- Whistle Blowing Policy

Education Background & Experience:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant 8+ years' experience and have exposure to Internal Audit in Manufacturing Companies.

Competences:

- Must have knowledge in general accounting and auditing standards.

- Excellent communication and reporting skills (verbal and in writing)

- Planning & analytical skills

- Strong customer focus and work ethic

- Proactive, co-operative and supportive team player

- Ability to work to deadlines

- A sharp eye for details for accuracy.

- Knowledge and understanding of internal and external audit processes
