Audit Director - US Audit - Shared Services - CA/CPA

Our client is ranked among the top 20 accounting firms in the United States. Started its operations in India in 2007 and they provides audit, tax, internal audit, pension audit, and a variety of other accounting, tax and consulting services to clients in the US and worldwide.

Audit Director : US Audit: Mumbai

Must: CA or CPA

Experience : 15+ years of experience in Managing shared services Audit teams

The Audit Director would be based out of Mumbai and would provide leadership to fast growing team of US Audit professionals in India

Key Responsibilities:

- Leading the India Audit team and reporting into the RightShoring Lead for Audit with local reporting to MD - India

- Responsible for the growth and development of the India Audit team

- Responsible for audit operations and practice management

Track SLA's, timelines and status of audit deliverables

Engagement - Actively track budgets, identify potential overruns and implementing measures for avoidance.

- Drive activities related to project staffing and mobility, including recruitment, onboarding, skill-gap analysis, organizing training programs, planning for travel etc.

- Review resource capacity planning, analysis, and forecasting

- Act as an Escalation contact and be responsible for any Conflict management

- Work with team on their career path mapping and goals

- Provide key MIS to India and global stakeholders on Team metrics

- Facilitating team engagement and activities

- Providing guidance to the local team on various matters, including employee matters, recruitment, scheduling and growth (including projections)

- Partnering with stakeholders in the US to deliver an outstanding experience working with the India team

- Monitoring all key metrics to ensure optimum realization and utilization of team members

- Identify opportunities and lead/collaborate on technology initiatives

- Mentoring the local Manager+ group

- Collaborating with the India Managing Director on strategic matters
