Principal Accountabilities :

- Independent handling of company secretarial work of India

- Government approval for various matters under Company Laws

- RBI & FEMA Compliance and central Government approval for various matters under company laws.

- Ensure adherence to Statutory compliances

- Ensure compliance with Company policies, products and business

- Advise management on regulatory changes impacting business

- Vetting Legal documents

- Risk mitigation and control

- Handling litigation

- Approval of product labels, claims and literature.

- Leasing and Acquisition

- Amalgamation of Company

- Negotiation and finalization of terms and conditions and placement of insurance policies and their claims.

- Setting up joint Ventures

- To work with Global IPR Dept and dealing in Intellectual property matters like Trademarks, copy rights and patents.

- Regulatory compliance for setting up Green field project.

- Compliance relating to legal Metrology act.

- Handling regulatory aspects of business.

- Providing advice on central excise and customs issues.

- Ensure adherence to statutory compliances.

- Advise management on regulatory changes impacting business

- Proactively liaison with Govt / industry association to ensure regulatory changes is in line with the business objectives

- Global support centre legal support
