Our Strengths:

- We are the only company in the world which can operate an ewaste recycling facility at small capacities to extract metals such as gold, copper and other precious metal from electronic items. We spend heavily in metal extraction R&D.

Job Purpose:

The role is responsible for managing the overall operation and control of all plant activities and functional departments for smooth functioning, profitability, business growth and development of the unit in sync with the corporate plan

Duties:

Planning:

- Plan the capacity/capability and production and processes schedules in consultation with Head-Operations to ensure that Annual Manufacturing targets are achieved

- Set departmental targets along with departmental heads based on plant goals and conducts reviews periodically

- Implement the standards of production on parameters like

Cost of Production / Process:

- Time spending on Production / Process

- Guide Head-Operations and other department heads in preparing SOPs/ manufacturing manual

- Identify options for improvement of technology or process at plant level and propose developmental plans to CEO

Operations Management:

- Conduct review meetings with functional heads and guide the planning and implementation of respective department.

- Provide feedback and recommendation to the plant team on the progress of the developmental initiatives

- Update CEO and management team/ Advisor on the identified gaps and provide inputs on the course correction measures

- Develop and maintain good working relationships with customers, suppliers and vendors at plant level

Administration, Compliance, Safety & other support functions:

- Ensuring implementation of corporate policies and guide, support departments in taking critical decisions, improvising efficiency in the plant

- Be accountable for the overall health and safety of the employees, equipments and environment in the plant

- Be accountable for all statutory and other compliances, approvals, audit requirements and certificates required for smooth functioning of the plant

- Ensure that resources are adequately planned and available at all times (raw material, spares, manpower, fuel, power etc.)

People Management:

- Attend to issues and concerns escalated by the departments and employees

- Conduct performance assessments of the direct reportees and review the performance appraisals for all departments.

- Conduct performance assessments in consultation with concerned corporate heads of the employees, who has dotted reporting relationship with corporate heads.

- Conduct periodic open house meetings and address employee grievance if any

Skills/Qualifications:

- Should be BE (Mech) / MBA –from good Pedigree

- Experience of at least 15-20 years (at least 5-7 yrs as plant head)
