Job Purpose The person will be in-charge of making sure that all accounting distributions are properly made and accounted for by the way of developing financial strategies, including risk minimization plans &amp; opportunity forecast. He / she would also manage cash transactions by overseeing accounts payable, receivable, disbursing of cash, and bank settlements. Responsibilities Financial Analysis, Budgeting &amp; Forecasting - Prepare and present monthly financial budgeting reports including monthly profit and loss by Business 2 Vertical, forecast vs. budget by Business Vertical and weekly cash flow by Projects - Review and analyze monthly financial results and provide recommendations on corrective action plan - Identify, develop and execute analysis of business initiatives Financial Management - Manage cash flow planning process and ensure funds availability - Oversee cash and asset management area - Maintain outstanding banking relationships and strategic alliances with vendors and business partners - Utilize forward-looking models and activity-based analyses to provide financial insight into the organization's plans and operating budgets Accounting, Audit, Administration &amp; Operations : - Supervise the accounting department to ensure the proper functioning of all systems, databases and financial software systems. Provide regular maintenance and backup of all accounting systems and supervise company financial staff - Review and ensure application of appropriate internal controls, ICFR compliance and financial procedures - Establish and maintain effective financial discipline - Establish a strong Audit plan for Statutory Audit and Internal Audit for the Organization - Ensure compliance to all regulations of Companies Act - Ensure appropriate commercial logic behind the decision-making process in the organization through the finance team across locations and drive cost management and cost optimization as a continuous program Taxation, Tax Planning &amp; Compliance : - Ensure effective framework for organization to ensure tax compliance including training relevant internal team members - Educating Suppliers, contractors, and service providers in order to achieve tax optimization - Ensure accurate and on time compliance for all tax laws - Liaison with tax Authorities on need basis to handles queries, provide clarifications, complete assessments etc - Demonstrate ability to take call on key matter for Tax policy in dynamic environment and ensure appropriate back up from Experts with their opinions developing financial strategy, including risk minimisation plans and opportunity forecasting Specific Measures of Success : - Streamline all revenue and direct costs - Target to automate the manual activities to strengthen and optimize the as is process into efficient processes and controls - Ensure 100% compliance completeness &amp; accuracy while driving finance processes like AP, AR, month end closing and compliances to meet sub functions KRA Required Knowledge and Skills - CA / MBA (Finance) with 12+ years of experience - Expert knowledge of related industry program policies, procedures, regulations, and laws - Working knowledge of related Labour/industrial laws, IPR matters (trademarks, domain name, copyrights) &amp; direct and indirect taxation and other general laws - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Ability to handle critical situations and manage investor relations - Should be result oriented and have a proactive attitude with very high integrity &amp; confidentiality - High level analytical and problem-solving skills - Effective team management skills
