Who we are?

Atomberg Technologies is a Consumer Appliances company that was started by IIT & IIM graduates. We started our exciting journey with energy-efficient fans and will be present in multiple categories in the next couple of years. Fans are based on our patent-pending BLDC motor technology, which saves more than 65% of electricity. We are the winners of awards like the National Entrepreneurship Award, Best Climate Solver award, Most innovative company in the "EE" category awarded by UN, and Forbes 30under30.

Since our inception, we have been successfully growing at more than 100% "YOY" and are currently doing a monthly revenue close to Rs. 90 Cr/month. The target is to reach 1200 crores by FY 23-24. Current product line includes fans, mixer grinders & smart locks, and future product lines will include several other categories across home and kitchen appliances.

Role & Responsibilities:

Job Title: Maintenance Manager

Responsible to: Plant Head

Department: PED (Production Engineering Department)

Job Purpose:

- The person is responsible for the daily operation & maintenance of Mechanical systems, Automated Systems and Electrical Equipment processes within the facility. This position will engage with employees to assist and direct all mechanical, automated and electrical work methods and procedures.

Role of Department:

- Responsible for all activities related to the repair and replacement of equipment and facilities that support an organization's operations with minimum downtime. Also ensure the proper functioning of the company assets while coordinating with other departments to optimize the overall use of resources.

- Organizational Position: Maintenance and Automation Manager

Main Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities:

- Designing & developing maintenance protocols and procedures

- Tracking R&M budgets and expenses to meet company objectives.

- Forecasting, ordering, and price negotiation of spare parts inventory

- Prepared CAPEX Project Proposals, Cost Estimates, Schedules, Status Reports, and execution plans.

- Downtime monitoring and strategic plans for reduction of plant downtime

- Prepare and monitor monthly, quarterly and yearly MIS for department

- Hiring and management of subcontractors and other vendors for specialized maintenance work Looking for new ways to improve productivity and cost reduction

- Ensuring that all maintenance processes are consistent with industry regulations and OSHA standards Compliance of ISO procedures for PED function

- Creating preventive maintenance procedures, checklists and adherence of schedule

- Key strategic projects to improve uptime of critical equipment's

- Workforce management, sub-contractor management, AMC of critical equipment, Utility

- Improving workplace safety with highest standards of compliance

- Design, development and maintenance of mechanical fixtures & toolings used in press

Required Experience & Skills:

- Must have good working knowledge of motor manufacturing industry, stator winding, servo press, conveyors, assembly operations automation preferably from BLDC manufacturing or appliance industry

- Expert knowledge of utility equipment such as compressors, air dryers, ETP, STP, RO plant, Fire pump, Sprinkler system, LPG, Pneumatics, hydraulics.

- Good knowledge of electrical equipment such as servo motors & drives, stepper motors, VFD, bus bars, HT panels, LT panels, Transformer, EMS system.

- Proficient in mechanical systems such as servo press, pneumatic press, assembly conveyors

- Must have extensively worked on automation systems PLC, SCADA, HMI (preferably Delta, Mitsubishi,Fanuc), real time data monitoring, digitization of plant.

- Must be well versed in TPM and practiced TPM in previous organization

- Working knowledge of robotic cells operations

- Energy reduction targets to meet cost per piece

- Complying with electrical legal compliance requirements of factory

Requirement - Education qualification : BE, MTech (preferably NIT/IITs)
