Role:
1. To lead and manage counselling process so as to achieve student enrolment target through this channel
2. Device an impactful counselling process to be followed by all the schools in the university.
3. Create effective scripts / talking points to be followed by the counsellors at various stages of admission process.
4. Conduct Periodic training sessions for the counsellors
5. Prepare FAQ's for the courses offered by the university as a part of the counselling process
6. Provide information to prospective students and their parents about the university and its enrolment policies. Meet the enrolment goals for the university.
7. Develop and build value based relationship with parents through personal interaction
8. Counselling and Guiding new parents through the entire admissions process - right from course selection to fee payment
9. Create attractive & meaningful presentations to be delivered at the campus.
10. Conduct presentations in the University & support counsellors in mobilizing visitors with the intent to convert visits into admissions.
11. Ensuring parent & student delight throughout the process
12. Organize and execute campus based events to attract maximum walk-ins
13. Liaise with stakeholders, coordinate with members or faculties wherever required to support delivery of counselling sessions and give a smooth experience to the parents & students
14. Collaborate with internal departments to research and resolve complex student issues relating to admission, registration, refunds or withdrawals.
15. Support the counsellor in taking all calls and maintain records of all incoming calls in given format.
Key Skills:
1. 10+ years of work experience: driving revenue, hiring and managing team of counsellors.
2. A winning attitude with impeccable written and spoken skills in English
3. A strong focus on customer-service delivered with empathy and passion
4. A proficient manager who can motivate the team and push them towards their targets
5. Ability to deal with Senior stakeholders as well as connect with students
6. Go-getter with focus on Goal Achievement
7. Ability to stay calm under pressure and keep to deadlines
8. Ability to work with minimal supervision
9. Someone who has already worked in the education/education technology space
10. Should have in-depth understanding of the Student Admission/Enrolment Process in education sector.
11. A mind-set of sales, with a focus on getting students to enroll for the right program in the shortest time
