Role and Responsibilities:

- Identify, analyze and disseminate relevant opportunities across various international and national clients' portals and presenting them to the team.

- Maintain the opportunities pipeline and internal BD KMS and coordinate with various clients for preproposal activities like pre bid meetings etc.

- Participate in BD review meetings and prepare requisite periodical reports for management review.

- Support the team in mapping suitable partners across various geographies. Also as required do a competitor analysis.

- Support the team for mapping and sourcing of external experts across various geographies.

- Provide analytical support in terms of understanding the key clients of Athena by researching on their priorities- sectors, geographies, partners; landscape analysis, analysis of their funding etc.

- Contribute to various sections of proposals and briefers, including past performance references, corporate capabilities, etc.

- Contribute to building and maintain the BD knowledge management efforts of the organization.

- Support business intelligence gathering, contribute to capture efforts, and support various proposal tasks.

- Support cross-functional proposal teams to design and produce high quality submissions that comply with clients' requirements and distinguish Athena as a partner of choice

- Support development of corporate capability statements and other marketing materials.

- Market research activities to support the identification and sourcing of new business opportunities.

- Utilize his/ her skills and networks to identify high-quality and compliant candidates as well as partner organizations for potential inclusion on proposals, both national and international.

- Preparing and reporting of key business development analytics and metrics.

Required Qualifications:

- Graduate / Postgraduate in international development or related field.

- At least 1-2 years of Business Development support experience.

- Strong writing, analytical and research skills.

- Demonstrated MS Office skills, including experience with MS Word and Excel.

- Strong ability to manage diverse teams spanning different time zones.

- An ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines while delivering high quality technical work.

- Attention to detail and good time management.

Additional Requirements:

- This position requires successful completion of a reference check and employment verification.

- The successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described.
