We are looking for an experienced Sales Lead to drive the sales and GTM efforts of the company in terms of strategizing, planning and executing the end-to-end sales process in a B2B environment. As part of the leadership team of the company, you will be collaboratively creating a vision for success and driving the team towards it. To thrive in this role you must be a prudent manager and an inspiring leader who is passionate about sales and scaling businesses to new heights. The ideal candidate will have a business mindset and will be able to see the - big picture- in a variety of settings.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with potential customers, manage communication & drive the end-to-end sales process
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them
- Work with the lead generation team to qualify business opportunities
- Develop and deliver technical presentations explaining the offerings & do consultative selling
- Understand and interpret requirements, work in conjunction with solution architects and come up with a point of view to customize the solution in a given client context
- Work with international clients and travel to client sites, conferences, and other related events, as required
- Own objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives and lead them to achieve their fullest potential
Required Experience/Skill Set/Attitude:
- Excellent communication (both written & verbal) & articulation skills (mandatory)
- Excellent aptitude in business analysis, awareness of quantitative analysis techniques, abstraction, analytical and presentation skills
- High level of creativity, learning potential and drive to learn on the go
- Strong team player and ability to collaborate with a cross-functional team
- Experience of B2B sales, customer communication and relationship management
- Experience and knowledge of critical phases of the sales process which includes requirement gathering, sales planning, solution scoping, proposal writing and presentation
- Data-driven mindset and the ability to convert insights into strategies
- Knowledge and willingness to learn and apply emerging trends in business research, data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence
- Understanding of media use cases is preferred but not necessary, and brief knowledge of technologies like computer vision are good to have
