ATC - Circle Human Resource Lead (8-12 yrs)

Job Purpose:


- Ensure the implementation of all HR activities at the circle level in adherence with standard policies and processes of the company

- Drive IR activities/conciliation proceedings/engagement with stakeholders (unions/contract employees; vendors; government; internal stakeholders) in consultation with Corporate HR and Legal.

- Manage the complete life cycle of employees in the circle from joining to exit for both on roll and off roll employees

Functional / Technical / Process :

HR Service Delivery :

- Oversee Talent Acquisition and handle employee induction and onboarding at the Circle level

- Ensure timely execution of performance management process and adherence to time lines for Half Yearly & Annual Performance

Management for both on roll and off roll employees :

- Coordinate with PMS Manager to adhere to the bell curve for the performance management process by level

- Coordinate with the Functional HR Heads and other key stakeholders at circle for scheduling and organizing training and development programs for the circle

- Manage Ethics compliance by ensuring all employees go through the FCPA & ETE work shop in collaboration with Legal

- Provide timely input for payroll processing of employees

- Share documentation of new joinees and exits for data updation on HRIS

- Coordinate with Corporate HR and TPA/Insurance company to ensure timely support to employees faced with a medical emergency

- Conduct all off boarding activities such as exit interviews, job hand-overs and settlement of final pay

- Timely reporting of metrics such as attrition rate and of critical incidents in the circle to Corporate HR. Assist and provide inputs for the organization's overall estimation and HR plan

- Record all employee grievances in cases of dissatisfaction with payroll computation

- Ensure internal communications sent out by Corporate HR percolate to all employees

- Collect and record employee engagement program data of initiatives at the circle level to enable the computation of employee engagement metrics

Industrial Relations :

- Applying deep understanding of prevailing labor laws, statutory and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and establish appropriate risk mitigation mechanism

- Ensure implementation of industrial relations strategies and policies

- Have a thorough understanding of the trends and interpretations for labor relations in the national and local context

- Liaise with Legal Advisors for conducting on-going labor related litigations

- Facilitate and ensure grievance handling process with the view to ensuring industrial harmony and discipline

- Represent management in conciliation proceedings, Union negotiations

- Maintain cordial and good relationship with various local statutory authorities and decision makers of Unions for ensuring amicable settlement of industrial disputes and prevent impact to business

- Be able to provide sound advice to Circle Heads on matters of Industrial dispute

Administration :

- Manage facilities including office upkeep, office supplies, stationery management, pantry management, security management etc.

- Manage compliance under Labor Laws and ensure that the Circle meets all statutory requirements

Customer :

- Internal Customer Satisfaction

- Interact with employees through exclusive and ongoing one to one interactions, identify issues of concern/ respond to grievances, discuss with concerned and take corrective and proactive actions/initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction within the organization

Financial :

- HR Budgeting

- Track and manage Admin & Facilities cost in the circle within the budgeted level

- Track and manage HR budget for L&D/ Engagement at the circle level

People :

- People Management and Development

- Allocate responsibilities to the members within team, supervise performance, resolve grievances, counsel and mentor team members

- Lead and provide guidance to direct reports

- Monitor attrition in the team and drive engagement initiatives to build morale

- Ensure the timely completion of performance appraisals with quality review and inputs from Managers in order to increase the capability and morale of the team to deliver goals

- Support in recruitment related activities to meet the manpower needs of the business

Job Requirements :

Educational Qualification - MBA

Professional course in industrial relations will be preferred :

Technical Competencies :

- Functional HR Skills

- Good MS Office Skills including Excel

- Language - Proficiency in English, Hindi (knowledge of regional language/s an added advantage)

Behavioral Competencies - All ATC Core Competencies

- Relevant Experience (in Years) - Generalist HR experience and 3-4 years experience in a people-intensive industry or Infrastructure industry managing Industrial Relations

- Overall Experience (in Years) - Minimum 8 years of experience or more.
