The team has the experience of working on several successful political campaigns across the country at both the state and national levels. ABM recently finished helping a national political party win the biggest electoral mandate at the state level in India.  Responsibilities :  - Independently handling all direct tax compliances applicable to the companies which include :  - Drafting/review of corporate tax computations, Advance Tax and Deferred Tax computations  - Timely filing of returns and payment of taxes (if any)  - Compliance of TDS/TCS requirements  - Any other compliance as may be applicable  - Analyzing amendments and their impact on the group.  - Providing Tax advice to management on proposed local/international transactions. Also advice management of opportunities for tax optimization.  - Responding to routine ad hoc queries from Finance (all taxes except payroll taxes) and liaising with external advisors and consultants wherever required.  - Meeting tax officers and providing information/clarifications during assessment/re-assessment proceedings.  - Improve processes by developing/implementing best tax practices.  - Advising management on opportunities for tax planning and taking suitable steps in this regard  - Identification of potential tax issues and devising action plan to mitigate the risks.  - Liasoning and support in closing Statutory audit (tax related),  - Tax Audit and Transfer Pricing Audits wherever applicable for indian and overseas entities.  - Ensure timely Issue of TDS/TCS certificates to vendors, etc.  - To build strong internal control for processes relating to taxation so as to ensure 0% non-compliance.  - Maintenance of requisite documentation for future review/audits by tax authorities.  - Should have sound knowledge of GST  P.S.
