Associate - Wholesale Finance Team - Banking

Work with the transaction lead to take direct responsibility for functional investment/ lending activities at an individual asset level to evaluate, due diligence, invest, monitor and execute exits.

Responsibilities shall involve the following:

- Analyse potential deals

- Prepare detailed financial models

- Conduct detailed due diligence on the deals/sectors

- Oversee external due diligence

- Prepare exhaustive credit memos

- Assist the transaction lead in active asset management

- Regular interaction with portfolio companies for data collection and monitoring with constant analysis

- Work with the execution team for remedial / corrective measures to protect and ensure timely exits in portfolio companies

- Build relationship with the mid-management in portfolio companies

- Work on building expertise in the allocated sector with continuous updation of developments

Educational Background:

- Engineering or any of the basic graduation degree

- Masters in Management or an MBA equivalent/ CA/ CFA

Work Experience:

- 3-5 years of post MBA/CA/CFA qualification

- Preferably in the corporate finance team of a bank/ NBFC, PE Fund, Investment banking
