Job Title : Associate - Web Analytics

Job Summary :

This role leads all aspects of web analytics for all Empower and corporate websites. The Associate - Web Analytics is responsible for analytics planning and strategy, overseeing the planning and implementation of website tagging in support of analytics, delivering a suite of dashboards, recurring reports ad hoc analyses, and drawing actionable insights from analytics in order to guide decision making and maximize budget and impact. They will educate stakeholders on analytics best practices, and advocate for the importance of data driven decision making. The efforts of this role will lead to increased website utilization, efficiency and a greater ROI for website and lead generation activities. This role reports to the Senior Manager.

Primary Accountabilities :

- Developing digital/online analytics strategy and planning framework for Empower and corporate websites to determine overall effectiveness of marketing campaigns and overall user success in completion of tasks within multiple websites.

- Utilize Google Tag Manager and /or custom code to create, test and oversee implementation of analytics tags

- QA and problem solving related to complex custom tagging

- Recommend changes to website content, tagging, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords

- Configure and use web analytics data to recognize patterns and trends to understand visitor behavior and identify improvement opportunities

- Create, maintain and interpret dashboards and reports on Web site performance including long-term traffic trends, audience segments, and the results of online marketing initiatives

- Measure the effectiveness of Web site features by leveraging AB/ multivariate testing to refine performance over time

- Translate web analytics data into insights and proposals that inform user experience design across strategic business decisions to maximize budget and impact

- Present actionable insights to digital marketing and creative services teams as well as various levels of management

- Coordinate with data science team and internal data management teams to build, maintain and load data into appropriate data marts or warehouse

- Work with IT/Systems department in highly complex technical elements to properly tag the site to gain the appropriate data for ongoing site usage and analysis. Supplement Systems with assistance in proper implementation of tags.

- Work with the Digital Marketing team to support basic SEO elements on all sites and provide guidance on gaining organic rankings through key properties. Responsible for main SEO elements on all sites and pages for Title tags, H1/H2, meta data, cross-linking, etc.

- Stay abreast of web analytics and SEO trends and best practices

Competencies :

- Proficiency with Google analytics and Google tag Manager

- Experience with complex custom analytics tagging

- Must have developer experience with HTML, Javascript, and jQuery. Must know how to create custom HTML tags for GTM.

- Some experience or understanding of AngularJS - all sites are built within the Angular JS framework

- Understanding the basics of SEO and can readily assist in properly optimizing all sites.

- Ability to effectively manage multiple complex and visible projects at one time

- Ability to present quantitative information clearly and effectively to multiple levels of the organization

- Supports other team members, shows initiative and positively impacts team dynamics and morale

Minimum Qualification :

- Bachelors degree/PG, preferably in an analytical discipline

- 3+ years of experience in an analytics focused role

- Strong technical skills in web analytics and tag management

- Proficiency in Google Analytics required

- Experience with tag management systems such as Google Tag Manager

- Ability to interpret data and analyze results to generate insights

- Experience with A/B and multivariate testing a plus

- Excel / data management skills.

- Excellent communication skills and proven ability to collaborate effectively with business teams and developers

Salary offered: 8 - 14 LPA
