Associate/VP - Investments - Private Equity/Growth Stage Venture Capital

As Associate/VP - Investments with a multi-billion dollar global growth stage fund, your key responsibilities will, inter alia, include:

- Lead investments end to end including the investment analysis, due diligence, and underwriting process, overseeing analyst/associate workstreams.

- Carry out a thorough analysis and due diligence on potential investment opportunities including market analysis, financial modelling, and assessing growth potential

- Manage the analytical qualitative and quantitative summaries that inform transaction decision making. Understand and communicate key deal drivers to the fund's leadership.

- Lead the development of investment thesis, execute deals, and negotiate term sheets and investment agreements.

- Monitor the performance of portfolio companies, identify value creation opportunities, provide strategic guidance, and support their growth initiatives

- Collaborate with management teams of portfolio companies to develop and execute strategic initiatives, including fund-raising, partnerships, and market expansion

- Nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including entrepreneurs, industry experts, and co-investors to enhance deal flow and access to high-quality investment opportunities

Requirements:

- 5+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or management consultancy, with M&A experience

- 2+ years of investing experience, preferably at a blue chip global or domestic private equity or a growth stage venture capital firm

- Bachelor's degree from an academically respected university. MBA, CFA or other relevant graduate degree or certification a plus

- Strong financial modeling, analytical and problem solving skills

- Intellectual curiosity and a proven abililty in handling multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively
