Associate Vice President - Talent Acquisition - IT

Title: Associate Vice President (AVP) - Talent Acquisition (Digital Vertical)

Role Overview:

As the Associate Vice President (AVP) leading the Talent Acquisition function for the Digital Vertical, you will play a pivotal role in attracting, hiring, and retaining top talent to drive the organization's digital transformation initiatives. This leadership position requires a strong background in technology, exceptional communication abilities, and effective team management skills. You will lead a team of 14 to 15 talent acquisition professionals, overseeing the recruitment process and ensuring the successful onboarding of a high volume of digital talent.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Strategy: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the talent acquisition team, setting clear objectives and priorities aligned with the organization's digital goals. Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies to attract top digital talent.

Talent Acquisition Management: Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process for the Digital Vertical, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection of candidates. Ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.

Technology Hiring: Lead the recruitment efforts for digital roles, focusing on identifying and attracting candidates with strong technical expertise in areas such as software development, data science, cybersecurity, and digital marketing.

Team Management: Manage a team of 14 to 15 talent acquisition professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure high performance and productivity. Conduct regular performance evaluations and foster a culture of continuous learning and development.

Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with senior leadership, department heads, and hiring managers to understand talent requirements and align recruitment strategies with business objectives. Build strong relationships and effectively manage stakeholder expectations.

High Volume Hiring: Develop and execute hiring plans to meet the anticipated demand for digital talent, including the recruitment of approximately 1000 hires for 2024/2025. Implement scalable and efficient processes to streamline recruitment and onboarding.

Metrics and Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track recruitment effectiveness, time-to-fill, quality of hires, and other relevant measures. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management and the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field. Master's degree preferred

- 15-18 years of experience in talent acquisition, with a focus on technology hiring and leadership roles.

- Proven track record of successfully managing high-volume recruitment processes and achieving hiring targets.

- Strong technology background with a deep understanding of digital roles, skills, and technologies.

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.

- Experience in partnering with senior leadership and collaborating across departments to drive recruitment strategies.

- Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.

- Relevant certifications in talent acquisition, HR, or related areas would be advantageous.
